A fairytale beginning to the 2009 Formula 1 Season

What a great beginning to the new Formula 1 season! The season opening at Australian Grand Prix have already involved a few dramas and surprises. The Brawn GP fairytale continued on Sunday as Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello finished first and second in the Australian Grand Prix, to give the team a maiden one-two victory in Melbourne.

The only disappointment for me is to see Robert Kubica retired from the race in the final three laps after he crashed with Sebastian Vettel at a corner. He was third at the time, and would have been second if he didn’t make the unnecessary mistake. Hopefully that mistake will conjure up his spirit to come stronger in the Malaysian Grand Prix.
